How We Help Our Patient See Better
At Mill and Sutton Optometry, our team of optometrists enjoy working with people to help them reach their visual needs. We strive to makes the patient experience more than just a doctor’s visit. They ensure the patients understand what their visual needs are and compare them with their current lifestyle. The same is true for children. During the exams, children are made to feel comfortable from the pre-tests to the dilation drops. We do our very best to make everyone experience exceptional service for vision care.
Services
We understand how vital the health of our eyes. We offer a list of comprehensive eye services to meet the need of our patients. If you have any questions about the services below, one of our staff members would be happy to walk you through our procedures for whichever service you need.
Regardless of your age or physical health, it is important to have your eyes examined on an annual basis. During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
For many people, contact lenses provide greater convenience and more satisfying vision correction than eyeglasses. Here’s what’s involved in a typical contact lens exam and fitting.
Symptoms of eye emergencies include eye pain, redness, discharge, sudden loss of vision, flashes and floaters, embedded foreign particles or other injuries. If you ever have unusual symptoms like these, just call our office and in most cases we will see you the same day.
“Ocular diseases” is a blanket term that refers to a host of diseases relating to the function of the eye. Below we describe some of the more common types of eye diseases and how they are generally treated.
